European Commission sent two statements of objections to Google. First of all, the European Commission sent a supplementary Statement of Objections and reinforced its views in its Statement of Objections in April 2015 that Google abused its dominant position by systematically favouring its comparison shopping service in its search result pages. The supplementary Statement of Objections is a result of further work by the European Commission after its Statetement of Objections issued in April 2015 and Google's response in August 2015.
The European Commissionalso sent a second Statement of Objections to Google alleging that Google abused its dominant position by artificially restricting the possibility of third party websites to display search advertisements from Google's competitors.
